Communities across Bolsover join together for this annual event supporting the development of local seasonal celebrations.
Bolsover Lantern Parade 2008
Now in its fourteenth year! Junction Arts are beginning to put plans in place for this years Bolsover Lantern Parade. As in previous years all members of the community are invited to join us for the parade and create their own lanterns through series of weekend workshops leading up to the parade on Saturday, 6th December 2008.
Dates for this years workshops are as follows: Saturday, 1st November, Sunday, 2nd November Saturday, 8th November, Sunday, 9th November Saturday, 15th November, Sunday, 16th November Saturday, 22nd November, Sunday, 23rd November Saturday 29th November, Sunday, 30th November
All workshops will take place at George Bratt Room at the Bolsover Assembly Rooms and will be open to the public from 10am onwards. If you would like to join us for this years parade or would be interested in working as a volunteer for the event, please contact the office on 01623 746 222.
Whitwell Lantern Parade 2008
In addition to the Bolsover parade, Junction Arts will also be supporting the annual Whitwell village lantern parade on December 4th 2008 with supporting workshops. Watch this space for further details
